ISHA publications are protected by copyright and all rights are reserved. ISHA publications may not be reproduced in any form or by any means without written permission from the copyright owner. Permission requests for ISHA publications (other than Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery, or Arthroscopy, The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgeries, and any other partner society journals) and for foreign language translations should be directed to the ISHA Secretariat at email@example.com. The ISHA Society logo, membership logos, partnership logos and Society endorsement logos are official trademarks of the Society. They cannot be used by individuals or organisations except under formal agreement with the Society.
Members may only use membership logos on promotional materials when their membership is in “good standing”. Should a member choose to cease membership of ISHA, or if their subscription dues are not up to date, they are not permitted to use or display an ISHA membership logo, and this should be removed from any marketing materials.
Foreign language translations
Permission to translate documents into a foreign language is extended through a written agreement. Requests should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All authors, illustrators, and editors who contribute to ISHA publications should sign a copyright release, which entitles the Society to copyright their work. This is not necessary if the individual is working under contract.
Publications may be produced jointly under an agreement that conveys copyright to ISHA and extends a licence to the collaborating organisation(s) for the unrestricted use of the document. This agreement entitles ISHA to retain sole copyright of the document and to use the name and logo of other organisations.
