The ISHA Research & New Investigator Grants

Important research in preservation of the hip

ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society is delighted to be able to offer two grants to support emerging, important research in various fields of hip preservation, including clinical or basic science research:

  • Research Grant $20,000
  • New Investigator Research Grant $15,000

Applications must be submitted to the ISHA Research Committee during the relevant application period (see below), with the evaluation criteria being:

  • Scientific validity
  • Feasibility
  • Budget
  • Clinical relevance
  • Ability to complete

Please note that one of the principal or secondary investigators must be an ISHA member in good standing.

Next ISHA Research Grant Application Period

Applications for the 2024 ISHA Research Grants are now closed.

The next round of applications will take place in early 2025.
