The inaugural Annual Scientific Meeting of ISHA – then known as the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy – was held at the Roosevelt Hotel on Madison Avenue and 45th Street in New York, USA on 9 and 10 October 2009. Hosted by experts from the Hospital for Special Surgery, the meeting brought together surgeons from around the globe to discuss in detail the benefits of the rapidly evolving field of arthroscopic techniques for treating hip pain. Presentations centred around research and data on both common and new procedures.
