ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting 2022 - Glasgow, United Kingdom

The Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, UK was the location of ISHA’s 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting. Representing the first chance to get together fully since 2019, this meeting sought to further broaden ISHA’s reach, with involvement from new partner societies and attendance from professionals in research methodology, radiology and basic science, alongside experts in hip preservation, surgery and rehabilitation. The focus was firmly on teamwork, inclusivity, diversity and audience participation.

The ISHA 2022 programme included sub-speciality instructional symposia; video/technique sessions; model and simulator labs; plenary lectures; and “ask the experts” sessions. New to 2022 were the JAM sessions, which involved presenters summing up their research in 1-minute “elevator pitches”. Alongside the world-famous Scottish hospitality, delegates were able to enjoy more debates, more technique and case-based discussions, and more evidence-based content than ever before.

In addition, for the first time, the dedicated pre-conference physiotherapy programme was complemented by a hands-on practical workshop afternoon at the renowned Hampden Sports Clinic.
